Travel PACU RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Englewood, Colorado. The unit has 17 pre/post bays, uses Meditech, and cares for mostly orthopedic and general surgery patients with 1:1 and 1:2 ratios. The team values bedside teaching and collaboration with an experienced anesthesia staff.

• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and stabilize patients after surgery
• Assess airway, pain, vital signs, and readiness for transfer
• Support recovery for orthopedic, general surgery, and breast surgery patients
• Prepare patients for discharge teaching and next-level care
• Document recovery findings and medications in Meditech
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and floor nurses

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 1 year of current PACU experience

• Bedside teaching comfort
• Knowledge of PT and OT instructions for joint patients
