Travel PACU RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for patients after anesthesia in a hospital post-anesthesia care unit on a 13-week contract in Englewood, Colorado. The unit cares for pre-op and PACU patients after surgical, interventional radiology, TAVR, neuro, stroke, and orthopedic cases. Charting is in Meditech, with typical ratios of 1:2 and up to 3 same-day surgery patients.

• Assess patients on arrival from anesthesia and during recovery
• Monitor airway, pain, vital signs, and neurologic status
• Support care for pre-op and PACU patients after procedures
• Coordinate with anesthesia and surgical teams for safe transitions
• Prepare patients for discharge or transfer from recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in Meditech

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Critical care or PACU experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIHSS certification

• Stroke care experience
