Travel PACU RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide pre-op and post-anesthesia care in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Englewood, Colorado. The unit serves same-day surgery and recovery patients after anesthesia, including neuro, stroke, interventional radiology, and complex surgical cases, with charting in Meditech and typical ratios of 1:2, sometimes 1:3.

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
• Assess pain, airway, and vital signs
• Prepare patients for discharge or transfer
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia staff
• Support recovery for neuro and surgical cases
• Document assessments and interventions in the chart

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current hospital PACU experience
• PALS, ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• Accredited Registered Nurse education

• Stroke care experience
• Critical care experience
