Travel PACU RN in Cody, WY

A Travel Post Anesthesia Care Registered Professional Nurse will provide perioperative and PACU care in outpatient services at a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Cody, Wyoming. The role supports pre-op, post-op, PACU and procedural sedation patients across newborn through geriatric age groups.

• Assess and monitor perioperative and post-anesthesia patients
• Prepare patients for procedures and support physician care
• Interpret cardiac monitoring and respond to rhythm changes
• Administer IV fluids and medication drips safely
• Provide discharge teaching and review instructions with patients and families
• Document assessments, interventions, responses and changes in status
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and coordinate patient transfers

• Current Wyoming Registered Professional Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS
• TNCC within 6 months of hire or as class availability allows
• 2 years of acute care or surgical services experience
• Perioperative and post-anesthesia care nursing knowledge
