Travel OR RN in South Carolina

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist with surgical care in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a Level I trauma center, teaching hospital, and Magnet-designated department with EPIC charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Circulate and scrub surgical cases
• Assist with ophthalmology procedures and eye trauma cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field
• Gather instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia during cases
• Document perioperative care in EPIC

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Ophthalmology case experience with retinal detachments, vitrectomy, cataract removal, and eye trauma
• Radiation badge

• 2 years of operating room experience
• Scrub experience
