Travel OR RN in South Carolina

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support general operating room cases in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults, uses EPIC, and is part of a level I trauma center, teaching hospital, and Magnet hospital.

• Circulate general surgery cases
• Scrub general surgery cases
• Assist with complex surgical oncology, colorectal, bariatric, endocrine, plastics, and pancreatic or biliary procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and room setup for each case
• Maintain sterile technique and a safe operating room environment
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support teams during procedures

• Active South Carolina or multistate Registered Nurse license in hand at start
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Experience circulating and scrubbing complex general surgery cases
• EPIC charting experience
• Community hospital experience

• Cardiovascular operating room experience
• Scrub experience with cardiovascular surgery
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma level I experience
