Travel OR RN in Florence, SC

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will care for adult patients in an acute care hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Florence, South Carolina. The unit has 12 operating rooms, uses Epic, and serves adults in a Level 3 trauma center. First-time travelers are accepted with broad specialty competency.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical supplies for adult cases
• Assist the surgical team during general, neuro, ortho, ENT and GYN procedures
• Monitor patient status and support safe intraoperative care
• Maintain sterile technique and a clean, organized field
• Document perioperative care in Epic
• Coordinate room turnover and case flow with the surgical team

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 5 years of acute care operating room experience
• Broad operating room experience in general, neuro, ortho, ENT and GYN cases
