Travel OR RN in Petaluma, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital in Petaluma, California on a 26-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, has 4 rooms, an average daily census of 6-25, and uses Epic.

• Circulate for orthopedic, general, gynecologic, and urologic procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support surgical safety checks
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and intraoperative care
• Start peripheral IVs and support blood product administration
• Handle specimens, wound care, and postoperative case cleanup
• Monitor for patient safety concerns and respond to OR needs

• California Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Strong orthopedic circulating skills
• Epic charting system experience

• ACLS certification
• Ortho/Spine case experience
• Mako Surgical System experience
• A-line setup and management
