Travel OR RN in Apple Valley, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist with perioperative care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Apple Valley, California. The unit has 6 surgical suites, uses Epic, and handles general, orthopedic, spine, vascular, robotic, and open heart cases. The team cares for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical supplies for complex cases
• Circulate during general, orthopedic, spine, vascular, robotic, and open heart procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and universal protocol throughout surgery
• Coordinate instruments, equipment, and specimen handling during cases
• Document perioperative care and case details in Epic
• Support patient safety, infection control, and code response in the unit

• California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Prior travel experience
• BLS
• Experience with perioperative safety, sterile technique, and specimen handling

• ACLS
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with robotics and open heart procedures
