Travel OR RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit has 11 rooms and uses Epic, with orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic and robotic surgery for infants through geriatrics.

• Prepare operating rooms for orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic and robotic cases
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia staff during intraoperative care
• Maintain sterile technique and safe surgical workflow
• Support positioning, counts and specimen handling
• Document care and case details in Epic
• Coordinate instruments, supplies and equipment for the case mix

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 1 year of operating room experience
• Operating room experience with orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic and robotic cases

• Epic charting system experience
