Travel OR RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in an acute care hospital in Torrance, California on a 13-week contract. The unit covers ortho, neuro, spine, plastics, burns, and general surgery for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team during intraoperative care
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control practices
• Monitor patient safety and support time out procedures
• Handle specimens and blood products according to protocol
• Coordinate with anesthesia and support staff during cases

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of operating room experience
• Intraoperative patient safety and sterile technique skills

• Ambulatory OR experience
• Orthopedic and spine case exposure
• Pediatric surgical exposure
• Robotics and minimally invasive case exposure
