Travel OR RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit handles trauma, neuro, vascular, orthopedic and other complex procedures, uses Epic charting, and averages 25 cases each day. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team during trauma, neuro, vascular and orthopedic cases
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety throughout the procedure
• Handle instruments, supplies and specimens according to OR standards
• Support room setup, turnover and case readiness
• Document care and communicate changes to the team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 3 years of operating room experience
• Trauma Level I experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Prior travel experience

• Ambulatory OR experience
• Robotic surgical case experience
• Cell saver experience
• VATS experience
