Travel OR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical care in an acute hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit serves neonates through geriatrics, manages trauma and specialty surgery, uses Epic charting, and works in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Assist with trauma, orthopedic, neuro, gynecology, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases
• Prepare the operating room and support safe surgical workflow
• Maintain sterile technique and universal protocol practices
• Help with robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures
• Handle specimens, blood products, and perioperative documentation
• Support patient safety, infection control, and equipment readiness

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Epic charting experience
• Operating room skills across trauma, ortho/spine, neuro, gynecology, and general surgery

• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• Level I trauma experience
• Robotic surgery and specialty scrub experience
