Travel OR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will assist in the operating room of an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic, has 18 rooms, serves neonates through geriatrics, and handles complex trauma and specialty surgical cases in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Prepare the operating room and support sterile workflow
• Assist with general, orthopedic, neurological, gynecologic, vascular, urologic, pediatric, and trauma procedures
• Set up and support robotic, endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgery equipment
• Monitor counts, specimens, and universal protocol processes
• Support blood product administration, IV access, and patient safety measures
• Document intraoperative care in Epic and coordinate with the surgical team

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of operating room Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting experience
• Broad operating room experience with trauma, orthopedic, neurological, gynecologic, vascular, urologic, pediatric, and robotic cases

• ACLS
• CNOR
• Trauma Level I experience
• Robotic and specialty scrub experience
