Travel OR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support circulating and assisting with surgical cases in an acute hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit uses Epic, has 18 rooms, an average daily census of 40, and serves neonatal through geriatric patients in a Magnet Level II trauma setting.

• Circulate general, orthopedic, neuro, gynecology, urology, vascular, and trauma cases
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for assigned procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique, fire safety, infection control, and universal protocol
• Assist with laparoscopic, minimally invasive, and robotic cases
• Handle specimens, blood products, and operative documentation
• Start peripheral IVs and support wound care as needed

• Alaska Registered Nurse license in hand
• Current BLS certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Operating room circulating experience
• Epic charting experience

• ACLS certification
• CNOR certification
• Trauma surgery experience
• Robotic surgery experience
