Travel Oncology RN in Johnson City, TN

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide oncology care in a unit on a 13-week contract in Johnson City, Tennessee. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with support from phlebotomy and pharmacy.

• Administer oncology medications and chemotherapy
• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and side effects
• Access and maintain ports and central lines
• Collect labs and coordinate with phlebotomy and pharmacy
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management
• Document care and report changes in condition
• Support blood product administration and neutropenic precautions

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS certification
• 1+ years of oncology experience
• Oncology chemotherapy competency, ONS or ONCC

• ACLS certification
• OCN certification
• Port access and central line care
