Travel Occupational Therapist in Walnut Creek, CA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Walnut Creek, California. The caseload includes acute care and inpatient rehabilitation needs.

• Evaluate patient function and develop treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team on goals and discharge planning
• Document evaluations, progress, and patient response to treatment
• Educate patients and families on home programs and safety
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and techniques

• California Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong patient care, assessment, and documentation skills

• ARU/IPR and acute care experience
