Travel Occupational Therapist in Walla Walla, WA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Walla Walla, Washington. The unit serves a short-term acute care, Level III trauma center with Epic charting. The caseload includes medical, surgical, neurologic, and orthopedic diagnoses.

• Evaluate occupational therapy needs and develop treatment plans
• Treat adults and geriatrics with acute, medical, surgical, and neurologic conditions
• Assist with activities of daily living and functional mobility
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in Epic
• Support therapy services in acute care, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation settings

• Washington Occupational Therapist license
• 1 year of acute care occupational therapy experience
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients
• Acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program

• Epic charting system experience
• Kinesiotaping, edema massage, and functional or static splint fabrication
