Travel Occupational Therapist in Tampa, FL

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide home health occupational therapy on a 13-week contract in Tampa, Florida. The role serves adults and geriatrics in a skilled home care setting, supporting a mixed medical, cardiac, orthopedic, and neurological patient population with about 6 visits per day.

• Evaluate patients in the home setting and update the plan of care
• Support recovery with ADL training, mobility work, and home safety focus
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, splints, and positioning strategies
• Provide patient and family education on function, transfers, and injury prevention
• Document visits, progress, and reassessment findings in the charting system
• Coordinate discharge planning and communication with the care team

• Florida Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of home health occupational therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle
• Independent practitioner with strong assessment and documentation skills

• OASIS training
• Experience with LVST, LTAC, or community hospital settings
• Experience with burn and wound care, lymphedema management, or electrical stimulation
