Travel Occupational Therapist in Seward, AK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services across outpatient, acute care, and long term care settings on a 13-week contract in Seward, Alaska. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, has an average daily census of 9, uses Epic, and is in a critical access hospital; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate patient mobility, self-care, and daily living needs
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy across outpatient, acute care, and long term care settings
• Teach patients and families home exercise and safety strategies
• Coordinate with the care team on goals, progress, and discharge planning
• Document treatment, progress, and outcomes in Epic

• Alaska Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience

• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric, adolescent, and developmental rehabilitation experience
• Neurorehabilitation and augmentative communication experience
