Travel Occupational Therapist in Kodiak Island, AK

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation care in an outpatient hospital setting on a 26 week contract in Kodiak Island, Alaska. The department serves patients of all ages, uses Epic charting, and supports acute care and long term care in a critical access hospital with Level IV trauma support. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Evaluate and treat patients with functional, sensory, and mobility needs
• Develop occupational therapy plans focused on activities of daily living and independence
• Apply therapeutic techniques such as splinting, edema management, and electrical stimulation as indicated
• Support rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurologic, and post-acute conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing settings
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record

• Alaska Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program

• Pediatric experience
