Travel Occupational Therapist in Richmond, VA

A Travel Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation therapy services in an acute care hospital rehab unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The 44-bed unit uses Meditech Expanse, supports a 4:1 ratio, and has stroke certification.

• Evaluate patients with stroke and other rehabilitation needs
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional activity interventions
• Provide neuromuscular re-education, self-care training, and functional e-stim support
• Collaborate with the therapy team to coordinate patient plans
• Document care and progress in the charting system
• Use lifts and other rehabilitation equipment safely during care

• Virginia Occupational Therapist license
• 2 years of hospital setting experience
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong stroke rehabilitation and neuro-rehabilitation skills

• Hospital and inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience
