Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Mcallen, TX

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will support imaging in an acute care hospital radiology unit on a 13 week contract in McAllen, Texas. The unit uses GE equipment, MediTech charting, and Sectra PACS.

• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine and radiology studies
• Operate GE imaging equipment and support image acquisition
• Apply radiation safety standards and Texas regulations
• Assist with O.R. imaging needs and procedural support
• Document studies in MediTech and manage PACS workflows
• Support general x-ray and fluoroscopy-related exams as assigned

• ARRT certification
• Texas Medical Board license
• BLS certification
• GE equipment experience
• Radiation safety knowledge
• O.R. experience
