Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech in Farmington, CT

A Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital nuclear medicine unit on a 13-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The role serves both inpatients and outpatients and uses Epic charting.

• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine imaging studies
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Perform imaging procedures and acquire quality studies
• Monitor patient condition and safety during exams
• Verify orders, identity and exam requirements
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification, ARRT or NMTCB
• BLS certification
• 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• Epic experience
