Travel NICU RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in a level II NICU and well-baby nursery in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The unit serves babies 32 weeks and above, with about 6 daily patients in a 14-bed setting, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Provide care for neonates in a combined NICU and nursery setting
• Assist with deliveries and initial newborn stabilization
• Monitor respiratory status, vital signs, glucose, and intake and output
• Administer IV therapy, antibiotics, and blood products as ordered
• Manage ventilator support and neonatal respiratory equipment
• Perform phlebotomy, isolation precautions, and family teaching

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
• CPI certification or MAB
• 1 year of NICU experience
• NICU II and well-baby nursery experience
• Phlebotomy, IV start, ventilator management, and isolation precautions experience

• Experience attending high-risk deliveries
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate
• Neonatal dosage calculations
• Breastfeeding support and breast milk handling
