Travel NICU RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill newborns in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The 23-bed level III and IV NICU uses Centricity Perinatal and Meditech, with ratios that vary from 1:1 to 1:4 based on acuity. Experienced NICU nurses support the unit.

• Provide direct nursing care for level III and IV NICU newborns
• Assess neonates and monitor responses to treatment
• Insert and maintain peripheral IVs, feeding tubes, and central lines
• Draw labs and perform straight catheterization as needed
• Support airway and respiratory care with the RRT
• Assist providers with intubation, surfactant administration, and chest tube placement

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Minimum 1 year of NICU nursing experience
• Level III or IV NICU experience
• Neonatal critical care skills
