Travel NICU RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates in a hospital NICU on a 13-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The unit has 12 beds, an average daily census of 8.5, and uses Cerner charting; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor neonates with respiratory distress, sepsis, and other complex conditions
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Support feedings, breast milk handling, and developmental care
• Assist with lumbar punctures, phototherapy, and thermoregulation
• Perform blood glucose checks, suctioning, and oxygen support
• Educate families and coordinate care with support services

• Current Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 1.5 years of NICU or pediatric nursing experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Neonatal assessment, IV, and medication administration skills

• STABLE certification
• Bubble CPAP experience
• Ventilator management experience
• Teaching hospital experience
