About this job

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for neonates in a level II neonatal intensive care unit in Eureka, California for a 13-week contract. The unit cares for infants 32 weeks gestation and above, with a small census and Epic charting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor neonates in a level II neonatal intensive care unit
  • Assist with CPAP and high-flow support
  • Manage UAC and UVC lines
  • Support breastfeeding and safe handling of breast milk
  • Document assessments and interventions in Epic
  • Stabilize infants for transfer when needed

Qualifications

  • California Registered Nurse license
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • 2 years of NICU experience
  • Experience with neonatal ventilator management
  • Experience with UAC and UVC line care

Preferred Skills

  • STABLE certification
  • Eat, sleep, console experience
  • Previous charge experience
  • Epic charting system experience
