Travel NICU RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide intensive care for neonates and infants in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit cares for high-acuity newborns and uses Epic charting.

• Provide intensive care for neonates and infants with complex medical needs
• Manage ventilator support, CPAP/BiPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
• Monitor hemodynamics, IV fluids, drips, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Perform admissions, IV starts, lab draws, and medication calculations
• Assist with intubation, lumbar puncture, PICC placement, and chest tube care
• Support tracheostomy, central line, ostomy, and post-abdominal surgery care

• Active Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and infant-driven feeding certificate
• 2 years of level III NICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• High-frequency and conventional ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP, nitric oxide, IV vasopressors, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Central line, UAC/UVC, chest tube, tracheostomy, ostomy, lumbar puncture support, intubation assist, phlebotomy, IV starts, neonatal dosage calculations, and dysrhythmia interpretation

• Level IV NICU experience
