Travel NICU RN in California

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for neonates and infants in a hospital in Burbank, California on a 13-week contract. The 20-bed unit averages 9.5 patients daily and treats sepsis, HIE, prematurity, RDS, hyperbilirubinemia, withdrawal, IUGR, and hypoglycemia.

• Monitor and stabilize critically ill neonates and premature infants
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and newborn stabilization
• Manage ventilator support and other advanced respiratory therapies
• Administer feedings and maintain oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes
• Perform arterial line, central line, UAC, and UVC care
• Review rhythm changes and support neonatal medications and infusions
• Apply isolation precautions and coordinate with the care team

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 1 year of NICU experience
• Epic charting experience
