Travel NICU RN in Austin, TX

A Travel Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for critically ill newborns in a hospital neonatal intensive care unit on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit is Level 3-4, uses CPN and Meditech, and has 3 to 4 patients per RN.

• Monitor and assess premature and critically ill newborns
• Administer medications, IV therapies and blood products
• Assist with ventilator support and respiratory care
• Manage thermoregulation, isolette care and continuous monitoring
• Collaborate with the neonatal team and document care
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns promptly

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• NRP and BLS certifications
• 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Previous travel NICU experience
