Travel MRI Tech in Kingwood, TX

A Travel MRI Technologist will perform MRI studies in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kingwood, Texas. The unit uses MRI scanners and Meditech charting. Brain, spine, and extremity imaging are common.

• Perform MRI exams for brain, spine, and extremity studies
• Prepare patients and explain scan procedures
• Start IV access when needed for imaging
• Position patients and monitor comfort and safety during scans
• Operate MRI scanners according to department protocols
• Document imaging details in the charting system
• Work with the care team to keep studies moving smoothly

• MRI certification
• A.R.R.T. (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Basic Life Support certification

• Proficiency with starting IV access
• Experience with GE MRI equipment
