Travel Medical Lab Tech in The Villages, FL

A Travel Medical Technologist will support laboratory testing and laboratory administration in an acute care hospital on a 10-week contract in The Villages, Florida. Epic charting is used, and the work spans chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and immunohematology.

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across core disciplines
• Analyze specimens and verify results for accuracy and quality
• Maintain laboratory workflow and support timely test turnaround
• Operate standard laboratory instruments and follow established procedures
• Document results in Epic and communicate critical findings
• Support testing across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and immunohematology

• Florida Medical Technologist license with chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and immunohematology coverage
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist experience or 4 years of Medical Laboratory Technician experience
• Epic experience
