Travel Medical Lab Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Lab Tech Medical Technician will support routine and specialized testing in a clinical laboratory on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with chemistry and hematology work. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing
• Run quality control and review control results
• Troubleshoot instrument and data issues
• Perform equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance
• Communicate technical information and assist with staff training

• Associate of Science in Medical Technology or related medical or scientific discipline
• ASCP BOC Medical Technician certification or equivalent specialty laboratory certification
• 2 years of laboratory experience
• Chemistry laboratory experience
