Travel Medical Lab Tech in Johns Island, SC

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will support high quality testing in a clinical laboratory on a 13-week contract in Johns Island, South Carolina. Epic charting supports specimen handling, result reporting, and routine lab workflows.

• Accession specimens and verify proper labeling and receipt
• Perform routine testing on analyzers and through manual methods
• Process blood, urine, and other specimens for analysis
• Monitor quality controls and maintain accurate test performance
• Report results and communicate critical findings per protocol
• Handle specimen storage, transport, disposal, and lab safety practices

• BLS certification
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent specialty lab certification
• 3 years of generalist laboratory experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Specimen collection, preparation, and analyzer operation skills

• ASCP certification
• ACLS certification
• AMT MLS/MLT certification
