Travel Medical Lab Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Lab Technician Medical Laboratory Technician will support clinical testing in a clinical laboratory on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The role serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
• Run quality control and troubleshoot errors
• Check laboratory instruments and maintenance issues
• Review computer data and recognize normal and abnormal values
• Communicate technical information and assist with training

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology or related scientific discipline
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent specialty lab certification
• 2 years of Medical Lab Technician experience
• Chemistry experience
