Travel Medical Lab Tech in Charleston, SC

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will support generalist testing in an acute care hospital laboratory on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. Epic charting is used for clinical laboratory work. The unit focuses on high-quality specimen handling and reporting.

• Perform routine generalist laboratory testing
• Accession and process incoming specimens
• Operate analyzers and run quality controls
• Prepare, label, and transport specimens correctly
• Report test results accurately and promptly
• Handle specimen storage and disposal procedures
• Support blood gas, urinalysis, and other routine lab work

• Medical Laboratory Technician certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent specialty lab certification
• BLS certification
• 3 years of generalist laboratory experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ACLS certification
• AMT MLS/MLT certification
• ACL TOP experience
• Sysmex XM experience
