Travel Medical Lab Tech in Farmington, CT

A Travel Medical Technologist will support blood bank laboratory testing in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Farmington, Connecticut. The assignment centers on blood bank workflow, quality control, maintenance, and EPIC/Beaker Soft Bank charting.

• Perform blood bank testing and related laboratory procedures
• Monitor quality control, maintenance, and daily workflow
• Coordinate scheduling and ordering tasks for the laboratory
• Review results and support safe transfusion services
• Maintain compliance with laboratory policies and standards
• Assist with supervisory oversight of blood bank operations

• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist
• 2 years of formal in-hospital experience
• BLS certification
• Blood bank experience
• Supervisory experience
• EPIC/Beaker Soft Bank experience
