Travel Medical Lab Tech in Pasadena, TX

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will support STAT and routine testing in a hospital laboratory on a 13-week contract in Pasadena, Texas. The lab handles chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and limited microbiology, and uses Meditech Expanse.

• Perform STAT and routine testing on blood and other body fluid specimens
• Monitor quality control and verify instrument performance
• Troubleshoot analyzers and escalate issues promptly
• Maintain organized workflow while balancing multiple tasks
• Collaborate with technologists, phlebotomists, and lab assistants
• Support limited microbiology workflows as needed

• ASCP or AMT certification
• Ability to work independently
• Instrument troubleshooting and quality control skills
• Strong organization and multitasking ability
• Team-based communication and problem-solving under pressure
