Travel Medical Lab Tech in Brownsville, TX

A Travel Medical Lab Tech Medical Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory testing in an acute care hospital in Brownsville, Texas on a 13-week contract. The laboratory supports generalist testing with automated analyzers and molecular tools.

• Perform routine laboratory testing and specimen processing
• Operate automated analyzers for generalist workflows
• Review quality control and verify results before release
• Assist with specimen handling, accessioning, and reporting
• Collaborate with supervisors and laboratory staff to maintain workflow
• Follow laboratory safety and quality procedures

• ASCP MLT, ASCP MLS, AMT MLT, or AMT MLS certification

• Generalist laboratory experience
• Experience with automated analyzers and molecular testing
