A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will work in a hospital laboratory in Brownsville, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses automated analyzers and rapid diagnostic platforms. It is an acute care setting with a collaborative generalist team.

• Perform generalist laboratory testing on routine specimens
• Process, prepare, and verify samples for analysis
• Operate automated analyzers and rapid diagnostic platforms
• Review quality control results and address instrument issues
• Document results and communicate critical findings
• Support safe specimen handling and laboratory workflow

• ASCP MLT, ASCP MLS, AMT MLT, or AMT MLS certification
• No blood bank history
• Graduation from an accredited medical laboratory program
• Strong specimen processing, analyzer operation, and quality control skills
