Travel Medical Lab Tech in Frisco, TX

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will perform specimen testing and support diagnostic services in an acute care hospital in Frisco, Texas on a 13-week contract. The laboratory supports emergency services and surgical care in a busy inpatient setting.

• Collect and process specimens for routine laboratory testing
• Perform chemistry, hematology, and other standard bench procedures
• Verify test results and report critical values according to lab protocol
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and supplies
• Follow quality control, safety, and infection prevention practices
• Assist with specimen handling for emergency and surgical patients

• Medical Laboratory Technician credential
• Graduation from an accredited medical laboratory science or laboratory technician program
• Experience with hospital laboratory testing and specimen processing
• Strong attention to detail and accurate result documentation
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
