Travel Medical Lab Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized testing in a clinical laboratory for a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing
• Run quality control and review results
• Troubleshoot instruments, maintenance issues, and computer data problems
• Recognize normal and abnormal values
• Communicate technical findings and assist with training

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related medical or scientific discipline
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent specialty lab certification
• 2 years of medical laboratory experience
• Chemistry laboratory experience
