Travel Medical Lab Tech in Brewster, WA

A Travel Medical Laboratory Technician will perform laboratory testing and specimen collection in a critical access hospital in Brewster, Washington on a 15-week contract. The role supports chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, and specimen procurement work across patient samples and control materials. It also involves quality control, information system entry, and timely reporting of results.

• Collect venipuncture and capillary specimens from patients of all ages
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments
• Analyze chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and urinalysis specimens
• Enter, evaluate, and transmit test data in laboratory systems
• Monitor quality control, instrument maintenance, and consumables
• Support blood bank testing, blood typing, and compatibility work
• Instruct nursing staff on proper specimen collection methods

• Active Washington State MA-P license
• Active phlebotomist license
• HEW, ASCP, AMT, or NCA certification
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience
• Laboratory testing, specimen collection, and data entry skills
