Travel Medical Lab Tech in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Lab Tech Medical Technologist will support laboratory testing in a clinical laboratory in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit serves neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with chemistry as a required focus and hematology experience valued. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare specimens for testing
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
• Run quality control and troubleshoot errors
• Maintain instruments and complete preventative maintenance
• Review computer data and recognize abnormal values
• Communicate technical information and assist with training

• Associate of Science degree in Medical Technology or related medical or scientific discipline
• Medical Technologist certification by ASCP BOC or equivalent specialty laboratory certification
• 2 years of medical technologist experience
• Chemistry experience
