Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide post-surgical and medical-telemetry care in an acute care hospital in Olympia, Washington for a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and monitors telemetry patients with central monitoring support.

• Assess post-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Manage central lines, PICCs, and ports
• Support chest tubes, drains, and bladder irrigation
• Administer oxygen therapy and maintain airway support
• Coordinate care with therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Charge RN experience
• Epic charting experience
• Central line, PICC, chest tube, and surgical drain care

• Telemetry remote monitoring
• Heparin and insulin protocol experience
• Wound care and wound vac experience
• Teaching hospital background
