Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide adult medical-surgical and telemetry care in an acute care hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Cerner charting, and has a 1:5-6 med-surg ratio with a mix of medical and small post-surgical cases.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Start and maintain IV access
• Provide medical-surgical nursing care
• Assess and care for adult and geriatric patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1.5 years of med-surg/telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• IV start and maintenance skills
• Cerner charting system experience
