Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide adult and geriatric care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in Anchorage, Alaska for a 13-week contract. The 34-bed unit serves surgical and medical patients, uses Epic, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Monitor telemetry trends and dysrhythmias
• Assess adults and geriatrics daily
• Administer medications and oxygen therapies
• Manage peripheral lines and related care
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Support admissions, discharges, and teaching
• Assist with rapid response and code events

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Experience with any charting system
• Peripheral line, oxygen, and isolation precautions skills
