Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit in Anchorage, Alaska on a 13-week contract. The 34-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and cares for surgical, medical, and complex trauma patients in a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and recognize changes in cardiac status
• Provide bedside care for adult and geriatric surgical and medical patients
• Administer oxygen and support non-invasive airway care
• Maintain peripheral lines, isolation precautions, and patient safety
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care updates with the team
• Respond to urgent changes and support rapid response situations
• Document assessments and care in the charting system

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Peripheral line care and oxygen administration skills
• Any charting system experience
