Travel Med Surg / Telemetry RN in Boston, MA

A Travel Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on a 13-week contract. The assignment supports neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, surgery, oncology, transplant and vascular patients in a teaching hospital, with Epic charting and average ratios of 4:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

• Assess medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes
• Perform 12-lead EKGs
• Administer IV therapy and blood transfusions
• Provide nebulizer treatments as directed
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy and the interdisciplinary team

• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 3+ years related Registered Nurse experience
• Prior travel experience
• Epic charting experience
• Basic computer navigation skills

• Teaching hospital experience
• Specialty area expertise in med-surg or telemetry
